Eric J. Reuter

Associate Attorney

Mr. Reuter has a lengthy history of public service. Before Mr. Reuter joined Wade, Palmer, & Shoemaker, P.A., he was a judicial staff attorney for Florida’s First Judicial Circuit Court. As a judicial staff attorney, Mr. Reuter advised the judiciary regarding a wide variety of legal matters and drafted a large volume of orders that addressed complicated issues. He also previously represented the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Guardian ad Litem Office in child dependency and termination of parental rights proceedings. The Secretary of the Department of Children and Families personally awarded Mr. Reuter the “Excellence in Child Welfare Award” for his zealous advocacy on behalf of abused, abandoned, and neglected children. While he was in law school, Mr. Reuter served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gregory P. Holder (U.S.A.F., Ret.) and volunteered as a mentor in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit's Veterans Treatment Court under the supervision of Colonel D.J. Reyes (U.S. Army, Ret.). Mr. Reuter is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During his five years of military service, he deployed to Iraq and various other nation-states in support of the Global War on Terror and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
